Released a thousand times and in all formats, the famous soundtrack to Louis Malle’s film, renown for the spontaneous creativity and beautiful music produced at barely one night recording and without having no-one prepared anything, has been beautifully reissued here (like no one has done before) on a limited and superb 10” LP with the original cover art of the release.

In Europe, the soundtrack was originally released as a 10 inch LP on the Fontana label. In America it was released by Columbia as side one of the album Jazz Track (CL 1268), with the second side filled by three new tracks recorded with his regular sextet.
