This CD includes 25 studio tracks, consisting of a selection of those sensational but underrated recordings B.B. King made at his peak for the Bihari brothers’ Kent label between 1958 and 1962 (mostly in Los Angeles). This set contains a bunch of B.B.’s lesser-known numbers, which are just as enjoyable as the classics of that period. It is our intention that this compilation will bring more attention to the many great recordings in B.B. King’s catalogue of Kent 45s, which are deserving of greater recognition.
