Recorded back in the summer of 2018, Dental Kafka is the second album-length project by Bonjintan, the collaboration between cult hero guitarist Jim O’Rourke and Japanese free-jazz icon Akira Sakata. Teaming up with pianist Giovanni Di Domenico and percussionist Tatsuhisa Yamamoto, it consists of four side-length pieces of avant-garde and free-form jazz adventures.
