The multi-instrumentalist Yusef Lateef (1920-2013) recorded this excellent quintet session in Hackensack, New Jersey on October 11, 1957. Accompained by Wilbur Harden, Hugh Lawson, Ernie Farrow & Oliver Jackson.

Highlights of the five varied and atmospheric tracks are a lengthy version of Billy Strayhorn's 'Take The "A" Train' with fine flute playing from Lateef, 'Love and Humor' which makes effective use of balloons & a 7-Up bottle and 'Buckingham', a showcase for Lateef's tenor saxophone.
