2 LPs ON 1 CD

This quintessential release includes two of Chuck Berry’s finest and most celebrated albums from his early years: Rockin’ at The Hops (1960) and New Juke Box Hits (1961), both originally issued by Chess Records. These LPs contain such classic tunes as “Bye Bye Johnny,” “Let it Rock,” “Route 66,” “Sweet Sixteen,” “Down The Road Apiece,” and “Rip it Up,” among others. The two masterpieces have been packaged together (respecting the song order of the original albums) in this very special collector’s edition, which also includes 6 bonus tracks (joyous B-sides from the same period such as “Our Little Rendezvous,” and “Go Go Go,” among them). All of these original gems, which have been brilliantly remastered to achieve the most pristine sound, are simple two-and-a-half-minute songs that convey all the sheer power and emotion of rock & roll.
