This quintessential release includes Chuck Berry’s two finest albums: One Dozen Berrys (1958) and Chuck Berry Is On Top (1959), both originally issued by Chess Records. These two masterpieces have been packaged together in this very special collector’s edition, which also includes 4 bonus tracks from the same period. Contained here is the cream of the crop from Berry’s hitmaking stretch for the Chess label during his most inspired years.
All of these original gems –which have been brilliantly remastered to achieve the most pristine sound– are simple two-and-a-half-minute songs that convey all the sheer power and emotion of rock & roll.
