Akuma Ga Kitarite Fue Wo Fuku' is the soundtrack to Kôsei Saitô’s 1979 film ‘Devil’s Flute’, composed by legendary Japanese jazz figure Hozan Yamamoto with assistance from keyboard player and producer Yu Imai. Taking the available technology of the era to its limits, the pair deliver a sumptuous sonic stew of funky breaks and disco-influenced rhythms.
