Portico Quartet work with Polish pianist and singer Hania Rani on this split effort, in which each artist chooses a song by the other to remix. Rani selects Portico Quartet’s ‘With, Beside, Against’ from 2019 album ‘Memory Streams’ and adds her own haunting vocals to it, while the London minimalist outfit choose ‘Nest’ from Rani’s 2020 LP ‘Home’ and drastically overhaul the original.
