I Had the Craziest Dream: Modern Jazz and Hard-Bop in Post War London, Vol. 1 is a collection of tracks from London's burgeoning, and multi-cultural, jazz scene at a time when the city was finding its feet once again. The Jewish community from London’s East End gave the scene players such as Ronnie Scott, Vic Ash and Harry Klein, whilst jazz musicians of Caribbean and African descent making waves included Dizzy Reece, Wilton Gaynair, Ginger Johnson and Joe Harriott.
