‘Next Stop’, a four-track EP from jazz instrumentalists Portico Quartet, is intended as a companion piece to their 2021 studio album ‘Monument’. Recorded during the same sessions, the songs share ‘Monument’s careful sense of structure and organised chaos but are less energetic and more reflective.
