The Acid Lands is a piece of music featuring the words of William Burroughs, taken from his novels The Western Lands and Junkie. It was originally performed by Opening Performance Orchestra, Martina Potucková and narrator Pavel Z in 2014 to celebrate what would have been Burrough’s 100th birthday. This studio version was recorded in 2019 which featured Iggy Pop as narrator and Bill Laswell on bass. The record also features a Bill Laswell remix.
