James 'Blood' Ulmer (g) with George Adams (sax, b-cl), Cecil McBee (b) & Doug Hammond (d).
This unique album is James 'Blood' Ulmer's first recording under his own name. Made in 1977 before Ulmer joined Ornette Coleman and embarked on his harmolodic phase, the album was first released by IN + OUT Records in 1990. It is a collection of spirited, extrovert jazz, tremendously enhanced by the invigorating rhythm section.
4 tracks recorded in New York, 1977.
