Jack Teagarden

This release presents the complete original LP JACK TEAGARDEN!!! (Verve V6-8495), which paired the leader with his old pals Bobby Hackett and Bud Freeman, plus clarinettist Bob Wilber. Among the many highlights is Teagarden’s only existing version of Henry Mancini’s classic tune “Moon River”. This marks the first time this album ever appears on CD!! As a bonus, a previously unissued live set with excellent sound quality featuring Teagarden and Hackett, this time at the 1959 Newport Jazz Festival.
