This release contains two complete original albums which find Sarah Vaughan backed only by a rhythm section of piano, bass & drums – a format in which she only recorded a few times during this early period of her career. The albums are "Swingin’ Easy" (Mercury MG-36109), and "At Mister Kelly’s" (Mercury MG-20326). All extra songs and takes from the sessions not present on the original albums have been added to this set, which also includes, as a bonus, two rare complete broadcasts from the same period also showcasing Sarah in the company of piano, bass, and drums, and featuring the same pianists, Jimmy Jones and John Malachi.
