The complete original soundtracks from two of Alfred Hitchcock’s most acclaimed masterpieces: "Psycho" (1960) and "Vertigo" (1958). Both scores were composed by the great Bernard Herrmann, who collaborated with the director on many other films. The brilliant movies were made that much better by Herrmann’s poignant compositions, which have become classics in and of themselves.

"Psycho" stars Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, John Gavin, Vera Miles and Martin
Balsam. While it initially received mixed reviews, outstanding box office returns
prompted reconsideration which led to overwhelming critical acclaim and four Academy Award nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Leigh and Best Director for Hitchcock. It is now considered one of Hitchcock’s best films.

"Vertigo" stars James Stewart and Kim Novak and is often cited as one of the defining works of Hitchcock’s career. As a bonus, we have included the main themes from two additional collaborations between Hitchcock and Herrmann.
