This release presents one of Diddley’s finest and hardest-to-find LPs, "Boss Man". Consisting of a 1967 reissue of Diddley’s 1957 eponymous debut album but with a different title and cover, it was released in the U.S. by Chess’ subsidiary Checker Records.

In addition to the original masterpiece, this Vinyl Lovers special edition includes 2 bonus tracks from the same period: the blues “I’m Bad” (B-side of the single “Who Do You Love?”), and the funny “My Story” (B-side of the single “Road Runner”).

Between hypnotic and rhythmic guitar lines, swaggering vocals, hot numbers and more relaxed tunes, all of these songs showcase a young Bo Diddley at his raw and primal best.
