Presented here in its entirety is the complete original LP Stan Getz and the Oscar Peterson Trio (Verve MG V-8251), which was the only quartet album involving both jazz masters. Along with the tracks appearing on the original LP, all other music recorded at the session has been added here, along with a quartet reading of “It Never Entered My Mind” featuring both musicians taped live at the Shrine Auditorium during a Jazz at the Philharmonic concert, just three days before the studio date took place.
