This collector’s edition contains 35 remastered studio tracks by Bobby Charles, consisting of all his sensational singles (both A- & B-sides) he made for the Chess and Imperial labels between 1955 and 1961. Several hard-to-fi nd sides from the same period have also been included here. These magnifi cent songs are among the finest examples of the genre. Some of the material here isn’t available on other collections, nor have these recordings ever been previously compiled together on one CD. This is an essential set for devotees of southern rhythm & blues.
