This collector’s release contains Link Wray’s magnifi cent and long unavailable second album, Great Guitar Hits, originally released by the Vermillion label in 1962. It is probably Wray’s most obscure LP, but also one of his fi nest. This underrated treasure compiles 12 rough instrumentals, which were recorded during his most inspired period and demonstrate just how raw, vital, and outright dangerous rock & roll could sound. In addition to the original masterpiece, this remasterededition also contains 12 bonus tracks consisting of hard to fi nd sides from the same period. Here is the material upon which Wray’s unique reputation was built.
