Sisonke Xonti

Having won his homeland’s Standard Bank Young Artist Award for Jazz in 2020, South African musician Sisonke Xonti presents his second LP. Self-produced with the help of pianist Yonela Mnana, ‘uGaba The Migration’ shows the saxophonist and bandleader at his most expansive yet, exploring themes of identity and belonging in the context of globalism.
