A rare salsa session, originally issued on a very small label – and one of the few albums we've ever seen under the leadership of Tata Vasquez!
The set's got a fantastic sound throughout – very soulful lead vocals from Felix Santini, on tracks that also open up with a richly rhythmic vibe – and a fair bit of jazzy solos on flute and tenor from the legendary Mauricio Smith, a player we've loved since the 60s!
Side two is especially great, with the long "Suite Guaracho" and "Orgullo Y Vanidad" – but the whole record's wonderful, and other titles include "Cool Breeze", "La Barberia", "El Loco", and "Maltido Vicio".
