ULTRA LIMITED AUDIOPHILE EDITION

PRESSED AT PALLAS (GERMANY)

A record that manages to effortlessly tie together its horns and Fender Rhodes – wrapping them up in a seductive groove that makes the album a gem all the way through!

The group are an obscure one, but they've got a very unique, individual vibe on this rare early 70s set – working with very heavy contributions on tenor, soprano, and bass clarinet from Rick Lawn – who also wrote most of the tunes on the set – next to the Rhodes of Joel Chase, a really fantastic player who's graced with a strong sense of space and timing that really opens up the sound! Bassist Tom Ives is great too – and the rest of the quintet includes drums from Al Colone and congas from Ken Parmele
