Dave Davani

This gorgeous 1965 LP is a killer sample of what should have been to get into a sweaty, smokey jazz/R&B club in the Swingin' London years. Davani puts his organ-ized sounds up there with other UK masters such as Graham Bond or Zoot Money, and gives US soul jazz monsters Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff or Brother Jack McDuff a run for their money!
