Ben Webster’s complete original 1961 LP The Warm Moods (Reprise R9-2001), which features the saxophonist backed by a string quartet (two different formations) conducted by Johnny Richards. It has been coupled here with the album BBB & Co (Swingville SVLP2032), recorded the following year and featuring Webster sharing the front line with co-stars Benny Carter and Barney Bigard.
