"Ark 2" stands as the sole studio album of the British rock group Flaming Youth, whose existence was short-lived. Released in October 1969 via Fontana Records, the album was crafted and produced by the songwriting duo Ken Howard and Alan Blaikley. Inspired by the media frenzy surrounding the 1969 Moon landing, its concept narrates humanity's escape from a ravaged Earth and subsequent voyage into space. Notably, each band member takes a turn as lead vocalist, marking drummer Phil Collins' inaugural endeavor with a major label recording.
