Considering their worldwide popularity, "No Sun In Venice" (1957) and "Odds Against Tomorrow" (1959) are the only two full-length movies for which the Modern Jazz Quartet were commissioned to suplly new, original musical soundtracks. Much later, filmmaker Jim Jarmusch selected a track from 1957 session, "Baden Baden" for inclusion in his 2003 movie "Coffe And Cigarettes". Meanwhile, familiar MJQ recordings have been used in episodes of "The Sopranos".
