This quintessential LP includes Sam Cooke’s sensational album, My Kind of Blues, originally released by RCA-Victor in 1961. It features well-know tunes, such as “Nobody Knows You When You’re Down and Out,” and “Little Girl Blue,” as well as smooth blues numbers like “Trouble in Mind,” and “Baby, Won’t You Please Come Home,” among others.
In addition to the original masterpiece, this WaxTime collector’s edition includes 2 bonus tracks from the same period: “Cupid” and the catchy “You Belong To Me”. These are outstanding tunes performed by one of the most important singers and pioneers in soul music.
