This is one of the finest concerts from Roland Kirk's celebrated career, which captures all the excitement of the extraordinary multi-instrumentalist's live performances. Kirk is obviously inspired here by Catalan pianist Tete Montoliu and the sympathetic audience, which included none other than legendary jazz saxophonist John Coltrane!

The original CD release of the Copenhagen concert contained only 6 tracks. 10 further tracks were later recovered and released in a now out-of print and much soughtafter 10-CD box set. Now, the whole concert is available right here on this outstanding 2-CD set.
