Zoh Amba

New York-based Zoh Amba originates from Kingsport Tennessee and is a real rising talent in the avant-garde music scene. On this new project the artist, known for her folk memories and powerful free jazz, joins up with legendary artists William Parker on bass and Francisco Mela on drums. They mesh well with Zoe's daring sax lines with rich bass and lush percussion all making for a subversive listen. The album balances light with dark and noise with quiet which all demonstrate Zoh's multi-instrumental skills.
