Jongo Trio is a Bossa Nova group from São Paulo from 1965 by pianist Cido Bianchi, bassist Sabá and drummer Toninho. Jongo played with Baden Powell and ended up being invited to accompany Elis Regina and Jair Rodrigues in the show "Dois na Bossa", which became also a very successful LP. They also recorded the album “PrimeirO Tempo 5 X 0, with Claudette Soares and Taiguara. Later, the line-up changed – Cido Bianchi (Organ, Piano, Celeste, Harpsichord, Vibraphone, Vocal), Clayber (Bass, Harmonica, Vocal), Turquinho (Drums, Percussion, Vocal), and Erlon José (vocal) and recorded this masterpiece in 1974 which features hits by Carlos Imperial and Nonato Buzar, Marcos Valle and Paulo Sérgio Valle, João Donato, Jorge Ben, Tim Maia, and others.
