The debut album from the genius of German Krautrockers Can, ‘Monster Movie’, represents the nascent steps of Liebezeit, Czukay, Karoli, Schmidt and different to later works, Malcolm Mooney as vocalist. The album brings together a swirling pool of elemental inspirations - including psychedelic rock, free jazz, blues and aspects of music from across the world, setting the standards in arrangement, song writing and experimentation for what was to come from the pioneering collective.
