This release presents the complete classic original album The Steamer (Verve MGV8294), featuring Stan Getz in a quartet format with his frequent collaborator Lou Levy on piano, bassist Leroy Vinnegar, and drummer Stan Levey. As a bonus, a previous quartet session showcasing Getz, Levy and Vinnegar again, accompanied this time by Shelly Manne on drums.
