The Complete Album + 4 Bonus Tracks

Chicago vocalist and pianist Audrey Morris (1928-2018) specialized in jazz ballads. Bistro Ballads (1955) was her debut album, and it marked one of just two LPs she would make in her prime.

After cutting the two aforementioned albums, Morris wouldn’t record again until 1985! Bistro Ballads showcases Morris both singing and backing herself on piano in the company of renowned Chicago musical director Johnny Pate on bass, and Charles Walton on percussion.
