Marc Moulin was the leader of Belgian avant-garde jazz-rock band Placebo (not to be confused with the 1990s indie band). Placebo Years 1971-1974 highlights some of the best music he made with the band in the early 1970s. These cosmic jazz/rock/funk grooves have been used as a great sampling resource by the likes of Madlib and J. Dilla.
