Enrico Pieranunzi

The Pieranunzi-Johnson-Baron Trio strikes again with its unequivocal, very personal musical identity.

Following the successful previous release, "Play Morricone", Enrico Pieranunzi, Marc Johnson and Joey Baron take us by the hand once again and caress our ears with their unique interpretations of Ennio Morricone's . lm themes. Some of the popular tunes, such as "The Sicilian Clan" or "The Meadow" are reinterpreted in a very original and surprising fashion; others, less known, offer the opportunity to a tremendously fascinating rediscovery ("The Nymph", and "Especially On Sundays").

In addition to the Morricone themes are four original compositions by Pieranunzi (tracks #5,6,9,10).
