The Ventures were one of the most successful instrumental combos in rock & roll history. They played highly personal versions of popular hits while they were still fresh in the public’s mind. The band also tapped into the surf-music craze. Their “big guitar sound” was highly influential during the Sixties, and they’ve remained an in-demand working unit to this day. This release features two of the group’s finest and most celebrated LPs: The Ventures Play Telstar, and Going to The Ventures Dance Party! Both musical goldmines were originally issued by the Dolton label in 1962, and have been remastered and packaged together in this very special collector’s edition, which also contains 6 bonus tracks from the same period.
