180 GRAM VINYL LIMITED EDITION
The Complete Album + 6 Bonus Tracks
While she never broke through with the general public, Barbara Lea (1929- 2011) was a wonderful singer who was closely associated with swing and Dixieland. Despite her lack of mainstream success, she would record some amazing albums.
A Woman in Love was her debut LP and finds her in the magnificent company of pianist Billy Taylor and trumpeter Johnny Windhurst, the latter a superb soloist who worked with the likes of Eddie Condon and Jack Teagarden.
