The Complete Album + 4 Bonus Tracks

You Smell So Good (aka Jackie and Roy) was the first album under their own name (and one of the best) by the husband-and-wife team of Jackie Cain (1928-2014) and Roy Kral (1921- 2002). It carries all the hallmarks of their style: wordless scatting on some tunes, playful lyrical interplay on others, and a focus on Jackie’s talents on some of the ballads, on which Kral mostly limits himself to back her at the piano.

The rest of the group includes Barney Kessel, Red Mitchell, and Shelly Manne.
